Following my training at Reigate School of Art & Design specialising in interior design and textiles, I have concentrated on projects for private individuals wanting advice on colour schemes, room planning and sourcing furnishings, managing conversion projects, taking existing offices and converting them into flats from the initial planning to the completion of the furnished units.

I believe that interior design should be an enjoyable experience and believe that my clients can relate to my down to earth approach and ability to listen and interpret their needs sympathetically.

I have worked on an interesting variety of projects, dealing with some fascinating people and developing a good network of craftsmen, specialists and contractors and appreciate being involved at the planning stages ensuring consistency throughout the project.

I am often asked to work from something which inspires my client – a piece of artwork, a view or a cherished piece of furniture which becomes the starting point of the project.

I am also asked to create artwork to enhance an existing scheme and as an artist I find this an interesting part of my profession.

Previous clients include Pizza Express, the international chain of restaurants, who commissioned me to re-design the layout and colour scheme of their Caterham restaurant and to produce all the artwork to hang in the restaurant. This involved creating eight large contemporary pieces, including collage, a six foot light box and bold statement canvasses.

My main objective in any interior design scheme is to produce something that excites my client, they are comfortable living with and that they will love for years to come.
