'Working with developers to create an exciting show home can be full of challenges! The building programme gets delayed, modifications to the layout take place and the colour of the kitchen units change, all without notification. Right at the last moment our beloved clients decide they would like a different property to become the "jewel in their crown"! Sandra takes all this in her stride and always has a contingency plan ready for implementation. In fact we can just leave her to make her own arrangements with the developer allowing us to get on with the job of preparing the marketing campaign. The end result is always spectacular and without fail every time a development is released the first property which visitors wish to purchase is her show home. It is hardly surprising when you see some of them.'
Martin Cundey 'Morthoe Properties is a small private owned investment property company with a mixed portfolio of commercial units. With the dramatically falling demand for ½ room office suites which arose from "home working" we were faced with the need to find alternative uses and turned to conversion to residential apartments. After planning consent had been obtained, the project was handed over to Sandra who worked closely with the building contractors throughout the scheme. She sourced and chose the sanitaryware and kitchens, selected colours to all of the rooms, negotiated competitive pricing for carpets, curtains and other fittings. We just left her to it! Having business interests elsewhere we did not have the time to carry out any supervisory work and Sandra looked after the building contract from start to finish. In the end we had five lovely apartments, each with their own individual features and tenants almost queuing to take up occupancy. Sandra undertook and completed a job which would have involved us in a considerable amount of time and inconvenience had we attempted to do it ourselves.'
